Extractions are usually not included in a holistic facial. Instead, the type of facial focuses on moving stagnant lymphatic fluid and toxin buildup off of the face. This toxin build up often contributes to skin congestion and this manual drainage is so beneficial to help clear up the skin!
I do offer an extraction facial that combines elements of a holistic facial with extractions. But I am always happy to customize your holistic facial to your needs 🥰

A holistic facial is a technique-based facial and does not include many products. The only products used during your service are a cleansing water and natural oils for deep cleansing and massage. A holistic facial doesn’t include any scrubs or other topical products (unless you add-on a detox tightening mask).

The kansa (kahn-zah) wand is an Ayurvedic facial massage tool made of wood and bronze. It is designed to balance doshas, chakras, and your skin’s pH level, pulling acidity, inflammation, and toxins out of your body.
The kansa wand is used on the marma points, or energy points, of your face, similar to acupressure. This stimulation of blocked or closed marmas can help reduce dryness, congestion, extra oiliness, sensitivities, discolouration. The micro particles of copper also support healthy collagen, resulting in plumper, firmer skin. Who doesn’t want that!?

Facial cupping uses suction cups to stimulate the skin and muscles. This gentle suction helps increase circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote skin cell repair. It also helps to drain stagnant lymphatic fluid, improve skin tone, reduce redness, soften fine lines, and regulate oil production for both oily and dry skin types.
Facial cupping also improves the flow of your “qi” (chee), a Chinese word meaning life force.

Gua sha helps gently move stagnant lymphatic fluid from the face, brightening the under eyes, evening skin tone, and smoothing puffiness and fine lines. Gua sha is great in helping break down tissue blockages and relieving TMJ disorder symptoms. Gua sha can also be used to sculpt, creating lift and firmness - like a workout for your face!
