Just about anything! That’s the best part. Because microneedling creates a healing response in the skin, forcing the skin to create new skin cells, it is effective in helping address many common skin concerns including:
Scarring and uneven texture
Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
Enlarged pores
Loss of volume and firmness
Fine and deep lines
Preventative anti-aging
All while creating collagen! This collagen then doubles each time you book a microneedling within the treatment window (8-12 weeks).

Micellar water and natural oils are used to prep your skin before needling.
A hyaluronic acid serum is used during the treatment to provide a plumping moisture boost for your skin (and you get to take the rest home with you 🙃).
After the microneedling is complete, a colloidal silver gel and an oxygenated aloe sheet mask help to soothe your skin. You can apply more hyaluronic serum as needed to help comfort your skin if it feels tight.

Yes! One of the best parts about microneedling is that the surface of the skin heals very quickly - it’s the best time to extract congestion.

Every client experiences microneedling differently, depending on their pain tolerance, the level of inflammation in the skin, and where they are at in their menstrual cycle (when this applies). But, thankfully, this discomfort is short lived!
The uncomfortable part of microneedling only lasts about 10 minutes. After your cooling mask, your skin will feel warm, as if you had a sun burn. You may experience some tenderness for the rest of the day but you can expect to feel back to normal by the next day!
I always say that the pain never keeps my clients from booking a second (or third etc.) appointment. Women know best that if it ain’t hurting it ain’t working 😅🤣

After your service, you can expect your skin to feel warm and tender. You must avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours (but you’re always using sunscreen anyway right!? 😜).
You can apply your take home serum throughout the day as needed for your comfort. Your skin needs to stay clean, dry, and free of makeup for the remainder of the day.
By the next morning, you can resume your skincare and makeup routine. Some sensitive skin types may still look slightly pink the next day but this will subside by the evening. Morning workouts after a microneedling treatment may be a little stingy, but will not compromise your service.
You can expect your skin to flake or peel, much like a peeling sunburn, in certain areas (usually around the chin, cheekbones, and between the brows) in about 3-5 days following your service.
-
Because microneedling stimulates collagen and cell production under the surface of the skin, it takes between 4-8 weeks to fully see the benefits of your treatment. This is how long it takes for those new, plump skin cells to reach the surface.
You should feel an immediate plump from the hyaluronic acid used during your service, but the real plump is on it’s way, don’t you worry!
-
The frequency of your microneedling treatments depends on your skin goals. The ideal treatment window is between 8-12 weeks in order to achieve maximum collagen production.
Anywhere from 2-5 treatments are recommended to address specific concerns, but many clients continue their treatment regularly as part of their anti-aging self care.

Microneedling is suitable for all skin types as long as you are in good health!
Clients on Accutane (and up to 6 months post treatment) are not suitable for microneedling. It is also not recommended to microneedle over a cystic acne breakout but it is possible to avoid a localized breakout during a treatment - it doesn’t mean the rest of your skin can’t benefit from the treatment!
