Classic lash extensions are a one-to-one bond: one single extension is carefully attached to one single natural lash. I specialize in lash styling which is an industry term for carefully mapping lash length, curl, and diameters according to your eye shape and desired end result. I also lash for a natural look - the “are those your natural lashes?!” kinda thing.
Classic lashes extensions are the least maintenance, replacing the need for mascara, adding curl, some length and volume. If you are looking for a more dramatic look, you might consider hybrid or volume lash extensions instead!

After each service, it is important to keep your lashes completely dry (no water, sweat, or steam) and makeup free for 24 hrs.
Do your best to avoid using skin care and makeup around and on the eye that contain oils. This includes eyeliner, eyeshadow primer, eye cream, lash growth serums etc. Oils and silicone based products break down the lash adhesive causing the extensions to pop off. Most of my clients wear little to no eye makeup (except for special occasions).
Classic lash extensions should be washed every day. Washing your extensions removes any sweat, oil and/or makeup that comes into contact with the lash adhesive. Daily washing improves retention and avoids buildup which can cause blepharitis (noooooo thanks!).
I sell a gentle foaming lash wash that is specially formulated for use with lash extensions. Please use this diligently for the best retention.

You sure can!
Any makeup products should be oil-free and not contain a lot of silicone. These ingredients break down lash adhesive, resulting in poor retention.
It is also important that you don’t use products that are water-resistant or waterproof. These products leave residue on your lash extensions and are really hard to remove without an oil-based makeup remover. Again, oil + lash extensions = no go.
After wearing eye makeup, you should always deep clean your lash extensions to make sure your lash line and extensions are squeaky clean.
Note: eyeliner and shimmer eye shadow are the most difficult to remove and are the hardest on extensions. Please use these sparingly for the best retention!

Yes and no. While lash extensions can cause damage (we’ve all heard the horror stories by now!), when they are properly applied they are completely safe. In fact, I find that many of my clients’ natural lashes are healthier, stronger, and longer with extensions. This is usually because they aren’t using mascara that can be dehydrating and difficult to remove, resulting in lots of rubbing or picking, which can be hard on natural lashes.
I take my time to meticulously isolate and apply lash extensions one-to-one onto the natural lash. Improper isolation can lead to two or more natural lashes being bonded to one extension. This disrupts the natural lash growth cycle, puts stress on the natural lashes, and often causes damage.
Lash length and diameter also plays a huge role in natural lash health. Classic lash extensions should not be more than 1-3mm longer than the natural lash. An extension that is too long or heavy will cause the natural lash to shed prematurely, damaging the hair follicle.
Lash extensions should never be a one-size-fits-all application. I always adjust lengths and diameters with each fill, placing a finer extension on finer lashes and a longer and/or slightly thicker extension on a stronger lash as they move through their natural growth cycle. This also looks the prettiest and most natural, if I do say so myself 🙆🏼♀️

Like all hair, there are three phases to the eyelash growth cycle: growth, resting, and shedding. Each lash is in a different phase at all times. This means that it is completely normal to lose a few lash extensions not long after your full set or fill.
A special occasion one-time full set (wedding, vacation etc.) can last up to 4+ weeks, depending on aftercare.
My regular clients book their fills every 2-3 weeks, depending on the fullness of their natural lashes and their retention. It is expected that clients should have a minimum of 40% of their lash extensions remaining to be considered a fill.
